My Favorite Places Online

I really like the Internet. Here are several places I like to visit online.

  • Sports Are Involved...
This is a sports blog which several friends and I started several months ago. We have fun with it.
  • Kentucky Sports Radio
This is a much more legitimate sports blog, about UK athletics. It is probably the greatest productivity sink in the commonwealth.
  • Page One Kentucky
This is the place to go for political news in Kentucky. This page is a great service to Kentucky, and Jake Payne deserves respect.
  • Barefoot and Progressive
This is another fantastic Kentucky blog. It is written from an unabashed left-wing perspective, but provides even-keel commentary about Lexington and the state as a whole.
  • Paul Krugman
Krugman's blog makes me think it was worth it to get that Economics degree
  • Calculated Risk
I visit CR just for the pictures. They make fantastic graphics of economic indicators, that help graphical minds make sense of numerical realities.
  • 538
538 earned a great reputation for projecting electoral results during the 2008 election. They continue to write consistantly high quality pieces about politics and elections.
  • /Film
/Film is a great blog about film and the film industry. It provides most of the fodder for Surreelfilm.
  • Game Informer
I really like video games. Game Informer is a great video game magazine, so I read it.
  • Donald Miller Is
The writer of great spiritual memoirs such as Blue Like Jazz and A Million Miles in a Thousand Years also writes a blog, and I read it.
  • Slashdot
Great tech and quirky news. I really enjoy the interesting stories on this site
